Jr Parts Analyst

The Jr Parts Analyst at Servco Auto Parts Center is responsible for ordering and processing campaign auto parts and providing support to the Parts Analysts in researching and ordering to maintain inventory valued at over $4 million. The position is a great opportunity to learn and progress to a Parts Analyst in two to four years.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with inventory management including ordering and tracking of parts orders
• Coordinate procurement activities relating to special service campaigns
• Provide timely updates to dealers and various Servco departments
• Support Parts Analysts in researching parts information with OE manufacturers, on the internet, or using electronic parts catalog (EPC)
• Create and analyze information to determine parts classification, order types, picking efficiency, and lead times for shipments

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum one to two years of inventory purchasing or procurement work experience
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Experience working with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software such as Oracle or SAP preferred
• Automotive technical knowledge preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ten key by touch preferred
• Must be organized, analytical, detail and deadline oriented
• Must also be flexible and adaptable to changing situations
