Overview

As the Partnerships & Events Marketing Manager you will be responsible for managing key partnerships and activations for the Toyota, Lexus, and Subaru Hawaii brands. This includes sponsorships and promotions, ensuring proper alignment with Servco’s brands for collaboration with organizations who embody Servco’s culture and can be a further expression of our brands. The Partnerships & Events Marketing Manager is tasked with engaging online and offline experiences.

 

You will work with the Sr. Marketing Manager, Content, Creative & Partnerships to oversee every aspect of strategy, planning, partner and vendor negotiations all the way to final execution and follow-up. This person will also manage a Partnerships & Events Specialist.

 

We are seeking an extremely organized individual who is able to manage the logistics of multiple events/programs/partnerships simultaneously. Responsibilities include development of events calendar, execution of events, securing sponsors, planning and budgeting, and collaboration with internal teams. In addition, this position manages of team of casual part-time field marketers and aspects of Servco’s corporate philanthropy programs.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with product marketing, content marketing and creative services teams to own the execution of event programs from creating and running the development of briefs, registration pages, promotional invites, landing pages, program content, follow up, etc.
  • Move easily between generating big, creative ideas to driving process improvement, to executing event details and administration
  • Proactively ideate new ways for third-party brands and organizations to collaborate with Servco’s various brands
  • Manage negotiations and relationships with partners and vendors by acting as the primary liaison and point of contact
  • Complete contracts for all events, sponsorships and promotions and ensure that sponsorship and event obligations are met
  • Manage the company’s courtesy vehicle program to partners and non-profit organizations
  • Communicate project issues and resolutions in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform all other applicable duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, partnerships and event management required or related experience and/or training
  • 5+ years of experience of team management with a proven ability to foster growth and comradery for direct reports
  • Valid driver’s license and strong driving record
  • Experience working in a fast-changing, hands-on work environment (preferred)
  • Understanding of event management platforms and systems (i.e. Eventbrite, Zoom)
  • Effective negotiator – proven track record of planning, negotiating, and execution of sponsorships and event activities
  • Ability to keep a pulse on current trends as well as an ability to keep events relevant and fresh
  • Understanding of design principals (preferred)
  • Understanding of the landscape and new developments in new media, mobility and/or automotive industry (preferred)
  • Experience using JIRA Software, Slack and Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)
  • Strong project management organizational skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
