Servco is looking for a Digital Content Specialist who will assist in preparing test cases & writing process documents for assigned projects. This position will also manage multiple competing tasks of various sizes, scopes & deadlines; collaborate with appropriate team members on assigned work and keep stakeholders informed throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Develop & maintain website content and vehicle related merchandising, landing pages, pricing and promotions that serve as the blueprint for site refreshes
    • Create special offers pages, campaign landing pages, and product explore pages to be used by marketing, content and automotive distribution and retail teams
    • Maintain digital production calendar to ensure deadlines are met
    • Complete monthly review of each site with marketing, content, auto retail and auto distribution to ensure new products are validated and ready for sale
    • Manage weekly status meeting to review Jira issues and monthly deliverables
  • Design & update campaign landing page layouts, website photography, images, and videos as needed.
    • Optimize CTAs, banners, page layouts, page flows, page designs, and target links for landing pages
    • Create image thumbnails, resize & crop assets, convert file formats, and other basic edits
    • Ensure interactive features such as photo galleries, carousels or slideshows, and video embeds across web sites are updated and work as expected
  • Complete detailed site proofing and Quality Assurance (QA)
    • Perform continuous quality assessment & regression testing to ensure content, products, pages, and creative executions are launched with right prices, promotions, inventory, features, images, copy and assure website usability and accessibility
    • Analyze test results and effectively communicate those results to the appropriate team members
    • Prepare and send out proofing links for business review
    • Assist in preparing test cases & writing process documents for assigned projects
    • Regularly review and refine process & procedures, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency of content production process
  • Manage and maintain Jira project board to ensure issues are assigned and resolved in a timely manner
    • Respond to Jira issues reported by business team members and ensure they are properly updated as issues are investigated and addressed
    • Monitor project board and ensure each active issue is clearly assigned, with appropriate sense of urgency in resolving each issue
    • Follow up on unresolved issues and make sure that progress is made through resolution
    • Drive issue resolution process and timing and close out issues when they are resolved
  • Training Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Jira users
    • Prepare documentation and schedule training sessions for marketing, creative and other end users
    • Follow-up training when new functionality is introduced
  • Provide additional development and proofing support of marketing emails when needed
    • Work with our Salesforce Marketing cloud email templates to code, image slice and add links to marketing emails, along with appropriate tracking links
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience and designing page layouts; and handling general site maintenance
  • At least 1-2 years hands-on experience updating web site content; creating, editing, and optimizing images for web sites; creating and designing page layouts; and handling general site maintenance
  • Comfortable with HTML markup, CSS, JavaScript, basic to intermediate level coding, web and graphic design
  • Comfortable with e-commerce, merchandising, web development processes and technology
  • Comfortable with basic search engine optimization and site analytics
  • Comfortable creating user documentation
  • Strong quality assurance practices (issue tracking, proofreading and data-checking)
  • Strong sense of project ownership and accountability
  • Solid organization and time management skills
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid documentation skills and a keen eye for detail and good design
  • Solid analytical and logical reasoning skills
  • Able to take direction, handle multiple priorities, and complete tasks as assigned
  • Able to learn 3rd party technology, platforms, and in-house tools quickly
  • Familiarity with agile methodology, project management, and marketing automation
  • Familiarity with email marketing, social media, and digital advertising
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and time-sensitive deadlines
  • Self-starter, team player and an active learner
  • Eager to hit the ground running and have fun doing it

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Siteimprove, and Jira are strong pluses
  • Experience with Content Management Systems
  • Experience with Email Service Provider Platforms
  • Familiarity with landing page optimization, web usability and accessibility, and basic domain management
  • Automotive marketing or retail experience
