The Marketing Technology Specialist will partner with the Marketing Team in improving customer engagement through marketing automation, list segmentation, A/B testing, content personalization and performance reporting using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other digital platforms. The Marketing Technology Specialist must have a technical aptitude, ability to partner with team members and capacity to think creatively to develop, test and implement new ideas.



  • Work with Marketing Team to plan, create, and implement email, mobile, and social marketing initiatives
  • Develop cross channel campaigns on top of Servco’s cloud marketing platform(s)
  • Build & coordinate marketing deliverables (creative, emails, website linking & content, tracking codes, etc.) for cross-channel marketing campaigns
  • Monitor QA and process check to ensure error-free deployments
  • Develop new ways to improve customer engagement by implementing further list segmentation, A/B testing, dynamic content, and personalization
  • Build and maintain automations, journeys and dynamic content scripts
  • Monitor and optimize email performance, email usability, content and conversion points
  • Review data and reports regularly to monitor each email’s ability to meet stated goals and work with supervisor to recommend next steps to maximize traffic, conversion, and engagement
  • Provide recommendations on subject lines, content changes, or design layout opportunities especially on mobile/social channels
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to ensure email and marketing platforms are used to their full potential to generate more effective email campaigns and automated customer journeys
  • Collaborate with internal and external UX (User Experience) experts on wireframes, interaction designs and customer experience for email and landing page content
  • Provide additional analytics support to ensure data integrity and quality across all digital performance benchmarks and reports
  • Keep up-to-date on digital email best practices, strategies, and industry standards. Work with marketing teams to make certain that the proper guidelines are followed through across all digital channels



  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer or Information Science or related field or equivalent level of experience
  • 2-3 years of CRM, Marketing, or technical experience
  • 1 year of campaign management experience using cloud technology (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Oracle Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot)
  • Experienced in hands-on design, prototyping, development, configurations, testing and other implementation activities
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • HTML and CSS proficiency
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of SPAM and data privacy laws
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to other technical team members as well as non-technical members
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously, perform in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of detail and accuracy
