The Parts Manager will oversee the successful operation of the parts department for Servco Toyota Honolulu and will ensure that the department is running efficiently and profitable while achieving customer and employee satisfaction goals.

 

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and administers annual operating budget and business plan including forecasting sales goals and objectives
  • Directs and schedules all activities for parts department employees
  • Implements and monitors sales and promotion programs for new and existing products
  • Manages counter sales efforts to determine fill rates, lost sales, and takes corrective action
  • Works with Service Manager to ensure timely turnaround of parts needed
  • Manages parts inventory levels and balance for maximum turnover
  • Monitors and adjusts inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels
  • Orders and prices merchandise
  • Monitors accuracy of parts information in inventory management system
  • Approves audit memos and returns to factory
  • Determines parts scrappage
  • Plans and coordinates physical inventory
  • Oversees and manages warehouse activities including directing receiving and delivery, analyzing and revising departmental operations and storage layout for maximum effectiveness

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum four years of auto parts management work experience which included oversight of sales, inventory management and warehouse responsibilities
  • Auto dealership parts experience with Toyota, Lexus, Subaru or Chevy preferred
  • Proficiency with dealership parts management system
  • DealerTrack experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to operate a forklift
  • Valid driver’s license
  • P2 ASE, Forklift and Hazmat certifications preferred
  • Must be team builder, possess strong leadership skills, and be able to manage and facilitate change
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem solving ability
