Servco is looking for a Compensation Analyst to join our dynamic Human Resources department! The Compensation Analyst will perform a variety of tasks to keep compensation for jobs abreast with the company’s desired market pay position and maintain pay equity under the company’s pay for performance philosophy.  This position provides support for sales incentive compensation processing and other total rewards initiatives; ensures compliance with state and federal regulations governing pay and pay practices; coaches managers on pay decisions in accordance with company philosophy and methodology; and works collaboratively with other departments within Human Resources to support the total rewards components of people initiatives.



  • Maintains market competitive pay ranges for non-union jobs as defined by the company’s philosophy on market positioning
  • Conducts job evaluation and market pricing using third party software
  • Administers the annual merit and bonus process
  • Coaches managers to make pay decisions that are appropriate based on performance, budget and the company’s compensation philosophy and methodology
  • Conducts research and analysis.  Synthesizes data from multiple sources to distill useful information that supports decision making around pay and compensation programs
  • Conducts internal pay audits, and internal equity reviews
  • Collaborates with other functions within Human Resources on cross-functional people initiatives to ensure optimal application of compensation elements
  • Consistently looks for ways to improve, streamline and/or automate processes
  • Participates in local, national and industry surveys for compensation and pay practices



  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
  • Minimum of two years of broad-based Human Resources work experience in a Compensation role
  • Strong knowledge of Compensation or Total Rewards principles and practices
  • Working knowledge of Human Resources principles and practices
  • Strong knowledge of State and Federal regulations on compensation and pay practice
  • Working knowledge of project management principles
  • Demonstrated ability to model data using spreadsheets and /or database software applications
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into information
  • Intermediate to advanced skill level with Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with HRIS and market pricing applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented problem solver and an analytical thinker that also understands the psychological and emotional impact of pay
  • Team Player who is adaptable to change and comfortable interacting with all levels of staff and management
  • Ability to clearly articulate concepts that are unfamiliar to others
