Servco’s Leadership Acceleration Program (LAP) is an opportunity to learn Servco’s businesses to help lead, accelerate change, and positively impact the customer service experience. In this 2-year rotational program, sponsored by Servco’s Executive Committee, participants will learn “hands-on,” the key areas of the company on Oahu, the Neighbor Islands, and in Australia. There will be leadership training and development, projects, mentoring and continuous learning expectations.

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be placed into a leadership role within the company based on the individual’s interests, skills, and the needs of the business. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals with the desire and drive for accelerated development and responsibilities leading to a progressive leadership career at Servco.

 

Must be willing to relocate to Hawaii, U.S Mainland and/or Australia.

 

Responsibilities

Key Outcomes:

  • Gain a broad understanding of Servco’s global business and experience operations end-to-end. This includes job rotations in Auto Retail, Auto Distribution, and select Corporate functions.
  • Learn hands-on and develop relationships across the company and within the communities.
  • Be a resource and make a positive impact where needed
  • Mentor and develop others

 

Responsibilities:

  • Learn the key functions, roles, responsibilities and processes of each assigned business unit. Understand how it fits into Servco overall as a global company.
  • Assimilate quickly into a business. Contribute to the collaborate efforts of each team to achieve desired results.
  • Strive to ensure service targets are met for customers.
  • Seek opportunities for improvement and propose solutions.
  • Take ownership to resolve issues, identify root causes, and take appropriate actions.
  • Be a self-starter. Take initiative to lead and/or assist with projects.
  • Implement and support service efforts and initiatives.
  • Mentor others both formally and informally. Share knowledge to help develop and inspire others.
  • Learn new trends and propose ideas to the senior leadership team.

Qualifications

Requirements:                                  

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, or related field or five years of equivalent work experience (in lieu of a degree)
  • Minimum three years of progressive work experience
  • Has been promoted once previously
  • One year of supervisory experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solver with strong critical thinking skills
  • Customer focused mindset
  • Able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with technology and proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Continuous learner with the ability to act with urgency
  • Forward thinking and ability to consider all possibilities
  • Self-aware with the ability to understand the impact he/she has on others.
  • Has a change agent mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Can manage ambiguity and make decisions at an 80% knowledge level
