    Servco is looking for a Product Owner to focus primarily on driving large scale, transformational opportunities. This position works closely with senior leadership and management stakeholders to prioritize and align business opportunities with strategic goals of the company and deliver on those opportunities via targeted initiatives following a product roadmap. 


    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define goals and create an execution plan for development projects, with a focus on outcomes rather than solutions
    • Translate product initiative (single product or cross-product) requirements to functional team members throughout the product development lifecycle - such as defining user stories, grooming sprint backlogs and validating stories are done
    • Engage in conversations with key stakeholders across the team, including product leaders, data scientists, clinical solution architects and engineers to make sure that development goals and priorities are clear and aligned with business objectives
    • Champion the voice of the customer through customer discovery, focus groups and customer feedback metrics to inform product roadmap opportunities
    • On occasion, help mitigate impediments impacting successful team completion of a release or sprint
    • Provide vision and direction to the development teams and stakeholders throughout the product life cycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives
    • Work closely with the implementation and customer success teams to develop delivery processes that encourage adoption of new products and features
    • Support sales and marketing with demonstrations of new products and features and contribute technical content to help drive marketing materials, website or sales collateral
    • Deliver measurable and transformative business and operational strategy solutions:
      • In partnership with manager, drive large transformational projects (cross functional teams) for various business areas across the enterprise (Retail and Distribution) to design and implement business strategic and operational service model and process changes
      • Research, analyze, and synthesize significant amounts of information to quantify business opportunities and issues to develop strategy and recommendations
      • Identify, advise and deliver on solutions to complex problems, requiring a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
      • Develop implementation plans and partner with the business to ensure successful implementation
    • Develop change management plans associated with new product launches and lead the effort to align cross functional teams to adopt new ways of doing business to drive Servco’s growth and profitability vision and desired functionality, scalability, and success metrics
    • Continually evaluate and learn new tools, processes or approaches to further improve existing methodologies
    • Establish strong, effective and collaborative partnerships with key business area leaders, project managers and subject matter experts to identify specific business opportunities or to address business needs or problems and help build effective solutions
    • Responsible for championing a cultural change towards a customer centric organization, focused on end to end customer experience, operational excellence, process management, and efficiency, including training managers and employees
    • Develop first hand working knowledge in operations across distribution and retail sales and service by working in the field on a rotational basis
    • Collaborate with internal and external UX (User Experience) experts on wireframes, interaction designs and customer experience journeys for upcoming product releases
    • Collaborate with developers in building out product capabilities on a daily basis, providing guidance and feedback on work while also taking input on product design and development improvements
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, agile environment, while also leading process improvement efforts
    • Understand, evaluate, and prioritize customer request for product development
    • Apply, promote and improve the Agile way of working
    • Promote visual analytics to create awareness of the capabilities of incorporating visualization and storytelling to help answer and solve business challenges


    • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering and/or Business or related field
    • 7+ years of experience in automotive retail or 5+ years working in project delivery leadership roles within the retail industry
    • 5+ years in a retail sales environment with a proven progression of leadership
    • A track record of success in people leadership, and in building and leading high performing product management teams and developing exceptional talent
    • Experience with delivering B2B and/or B2C web experiences on mobile platforms and technologies is preferred
    • Experience working in an agile, product led development environment is preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Effective communication skills to story-tell through data visualization, and ability to explain work effectively to any audience
    • Interpersonal and relationship-building skills: Ability to use a network of relationships, and a track record of excellent internal stakeholder management at all levels and be seen as a trusted advisor to team leadership
    • Global Perspective and Learning Agility: Ability to take a systematic, structured view of situations, while staying focused on the big picture. Have significant experience operating in a global environment and able to demonstrate cultural agility
    • A track record of achievement, accountability and translating complex strategies into actionable plans
    • Excellent organizational skills, coupled with the proven ability to set priorities, manage deadlines, and make data-driven decisions
    • Demonstrate sound judgement in assessing business risks and make decisions that balance a variety of factors whilst always maintaining the integrity of the core values and business strategy
    • Ability to work across multiple organizations to accomplish diverse goals
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
    • Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments and project expectations
    • Ability to research and interpret technical literature
