  • Overview

    As the Digital Platform Product Owner, you will optimize all digital touchpoints along the Servco customer journey with the primary objective of delivering innovative customer experiences that drive engagement, sales and service objectives across our business.  This position will understand all digital platforms used in today’s environment and evaluate each to determine its value to the organization. They will identify and fill gaps, eliminate overlap, and onboard new platforms as needed to drive deeper engagement and increase customer lifetime value.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop a digital platform vision and roadmap based on the needs and goals of the business and map out a portfolio of technology solutions
    • Own, maintain, and prioritize product backlogs; facilitate feature mapping, break features into stories, define acceptance criteria
    • Ensure team understanding of where platforms fit into the Servco customer journey and what purpose each platform serves to generate viable ideas for improvement
    • Evaluate digital advertising platforms and strategies to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness of customer acquisition campaigns across SEM, social, display and other channels
    • Lead the ideation, definition, evaluation, selection and implementation of next generation digital experiences and supporting platforms to support the transformative connected Servco customer experience
    • Define measurable success metrics and KPIs for product investments and be accountable for tracking and meeting those metrics
    • Define and lead continuous testing of digital product development opportunities utilizing A/B testing methodologies
    • Perform analysis of digital product roadmap opportunities across the business, using data visualization, analytics and data science methods
    • Audit SEO capabilities and keyword rankings and partner with development team to improve site structure for enhanced content exposure (crawlability) to Google and other search engines
    • Collaborate with internal and external resources to ensure email and marketing platforms are used to their full potential to generate more effective email campaigns and automated customer journeys
    • Collaborate with internal and external UX (User Experience) experts on wireframes, interaction designs and customer experience journeys for upcoming product releases
    • Create customer feedback loop for continuous dialog with Servco customers; use feedback and data to iterate digital platform features, functionality, and design
    • Drive for continuous improvement in performance, scalability, extensibility, reliability, usability, and availability of the platform
    • Manage partnerships for solution delivery including internal resources, agencies, and other external resources in a distributed development model
    • Partner with business stakeholders, development team, and other cross-functional leads to develop, execute, and maintain a digital roadmap
    • Creatively overcome challenges to quickly get our products to market
    • Analyze potential product enhancements and requests to determine the best way to solve a problem in the time available, setting the expectation for the delivery of new functionality 
    • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals 
    • Apply, promote and improve the Agile way of working
    • Foster a culture of innovation

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
    • 5+ years of related work experience
    • 3+ years of experience in a retail environment, with progressive leadership and/or operational accountability in retail sales
    • 2 years of progressive experience leading or managing teams
    • Experience with delivery methodologies in a fast-paced complex environment such as Agile and SCRUM
    • Experience supporting delivery of an omnichannel business model in a B2C environment
    • Experience with systems and processes that support e-Commerce capabilities from order to cash, fulfillment, ERP integration and customer service
    • Experience in planning platform or related roadmaps
    • Expertise in R&D and rapid prototyping
    • Experience working in cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions
    • Ability to demonstrate experience with core digital technologies and tools
    • Proven ability to think strategically and to communicate the strategy to a large organization
    • Proven ability to turn strategy into reality through superior execution
    • Capability to develop technology professionals with high expectations, a collaborative style and a focus on continuous improvement, quality and planning
    • Experience in global or multi-branded environments
    • Proven track record of success in fast-moving organizations with complex technology applications
    • Effective communication skills to story-tell through data visualization, and ability to explain your work effectively to any audience
    • Ability to work across multiple organizations to accomplish diverse goals
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
    • Track record of achievement and accountability
